Exciting news for anyone interested in exerting control over your aging years! Within the week, The Blueprint to Age Your Way will be available on Amazon. February 12 is the book launch and signing at Book People in Austin, Texas. It’s also the date the book is available on Amazon for delivery.

The Age Your Way book project has been a labor of love, a two-part series aimed at putting the power in your hands. Please, please, please grab that power and charge forward.

I can’t offer many guarantees in life, but I can promise you this: when you take the time to execute your Blueprint, you’ll be glad you did.

You’ll be amazed at how scattered all the pieces of information are in your own life. This is true for even the most organized among you.

I always considered myself an organized person. But the organization of my life was more in my head than I ever realized. I knew where my bank accounts were, where I kept my insurance cards, my legal documents, etc.

My individual method of organization was great for me. However, it would have failed miserably if anyone else had to step in and assist me. This probably rings true for you too. The simple task of centralizing all your data in one place will provide you with an enhanced level of comfort. And the Blueprint serves as your guide. Chapter by chapter, it will walk you through the important areas of your life: legal, financial, medical, and personal.

The second significant benefit in completing your Blueprint is documenting your wishes as you age. This may sound strange to some of you. Maybe you think your inner circle knows exactly what you want and what you don’t want. Perhaps you believe you’re covered by legal documents. Untrue on both fronts. There are questions that have never been explored by you and legal documents are broad.

In completing the Blueprint, you’ll name your priorities, fears, favorites, funeral wishes, concessions you will make, and more. You’ll find yourself considering decision points for yourself that never entered your consciousness. And this is a good thing. It’s your right to document wishes. Don’t put another in the position of guessing what you want.

What you commit to the written word gives you the comfort of control. It also alleviates the heartache and guilt that could fall to your loved ones when you fail to plan and document.

If it seems I’m overly enthusiastic, that’s true. And there’s a reason for the big push. It’s because completing your Blueprint is not quick or easy. It takes time and commitment to get it right. We are all complex human beings, each unique. My gift to you is a method of documenting the life you have constructed for yourself. I hope you take on the passion to plan!

The Blueprint to Age Your Way is available now for pre-order.
