Sometimes, the kindness of others is all the gift we need to see our world as rosy. This is the letter I received from Sarah – the best gift I could ever hope for. Thank you, Sarah!!

When my coworker returned from her Austin trip, she brought back a copy of Debbie’s book, and raved about her time with Debbie, as well as NCM’s phenomenal care of their clients. I was curious, and ordered a copy. 🙂 I was blown away by what a valuable resource the “Blueprint for Aging Your Way is. I called my parents and my grandparents and asked them each to get a copy, so that we can discuss it at our family reunion this spring. All throughout my time of working with clients and caregivers, I hear frequently that “There’s no handbook for this stuff.” NOW THERE IS!!! 🙂

I went to lunch with a friend and she was telling me about her father-in-law’s sudden health decline, and how her family is relocating to be near him in his final year. His care need is growing. I told her about your book, and how it’s bringing my family so much clarity and peace of mind as we build a plan together. She left me a voicemail yesterday saying that not only did she devour the whole thing, she bought copies for every member of her family, and ordered many copies to hand out to her clients, as they purchase insurance and make retirement plans etc. She was thrilled at this new resource that uncovers firm footing for families and individuals as they navigate the tricky journey of declining health.

I am currently re-reading it, and was very glad to hear you are hard at work developing a workbook version. I am sure distilling years of experiences into writing to share with others was a challenging process, and all I can say is how grateful I am that you took the time to share your expertise, as well as your heart. This is hard-won knowledge, and I am so thankful for your willingness to share.

Sarah
